I tend to bring energy to social gatherings.

Read your Big Five traits separately

The Big Five describes extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness. This page uses an English translation of the CareOps 20-item adaptation, assembled from the public IPIP item pool using the Mini-IPIP structure of four items per trait.

Reading your results

Read each trait alongside your recent experiences. Higher and lower scores are not rankings of people, and these results are not population percentiles. The four-letter label is a CareOps summary that splits four traits at their midpoints, not an MBTI result. Read emotional sensitivity separately.

A question to reflect on

Recall one gathering where you felt comfortable and another that drained you. What differed: the number of people, the conversation or how long you stayed? Connect one trait with a condition you would like to change next time.

Frequently asked questions

How many questions are in the Big Five personality check, and how long does it take?
There are 20 questions, and it usually takes about 4 minutes. For each question you choose one of 5 answers, from “Strongly disagree” to “Strongly agree”. There are no right or wrong answers.
How does the Big Five differ from MBTI?
The Big Five does not sort people into types. It describes how strongly each of five traits shows up. The four letters shown with these results are a CareOps summary that splits four traits at their midpoints; they are not an MBTI result.
What does each of the five traits describe?
Extraversion is how much energy you get from people and activity. Agreeableness is how considerate and cooperative you tend to be. Conscientiousness is how much you plan and follow through. Emotional sensitivity is how strongly you feel worry and shifts in mood. Openness is how open you are to new ideas and experiences.
Are high or low scores good or bad?
No. Higher and lower scores describe directions of temperament, not rankings of people, and these results are not population percentiles. Read each trait alongside your recent experiences.
Do I need to sign in? Are my answers saved?
You can see your results right away without signing in. Your answers are used only for scoring and are not stored on our servers.
Can I bring these results into a counseling session?
Use the analysis button at the bottom of the result screen to have a short conversation with Maeumi without signing in. After the conversation, you can continue in the app. The web conversation does not transfer automatically to the app.
Can I share my results with a friend?
Yes. Use Share at the top right of the result screen to send a friend the check itself, or share your result as a link or story image. A result link carries your scores inside the address only; it does not include your name or account, and nothing is saved on our side.
